This is my Tigress Angel. I created her in art school a few years ago. This is to represent a memoriam form my childhood friend who had passed away while I was in California for art school.
I miss her terribly. We had our spats but we were best friends all through childhood. I loved her like a sister. This goes out to her family. They are fantastic people that are fun and exciting to be with. To Mary's mother. I miss you and want to get back in touch again. To Mary's husband: Thank you for sharing so much with me about her I didn't get to see. If you can contact me sometime. I miss everyone In Memory of Mary E. Tracy
created in Photoshop 2009
This is my water color portrait of my cousin Rick who had passed away in 1989. I had to use photo reference that was supply by his mother and father. This is my favorite image of him. He loved music. He was extremely talented on guitar. He is missed by all of the family. I thank his parents for a lot of the support and care they gave me when I was young. They are great people. I love them deeply! I want to give them thanks for the support while I was away in school!
This pencil sketch is not in color yet, but I wanted to add this right a way. I know how hard it is to be in debt or not have a job. I always try to remember that there is a guardian to protect me through tough times. I admit it is hard to stay positive during these hard times. But I feel that there will be great opportunities waiting for me if I stay positive. I hope that this can inspire others. Drawn Sept 2010
This is a quick colored pencil drawing that was intended to look like a cartoon/ illustration. I have always dreamed of creating my own children's book. This illustration I titled "Angel Trio Choir" I love the theme of this one and I wish to create a line of them. I love the cartoon like quality which I tend to use often. Drawn: colored pencil/ ink/ graphite. Sept 2010
This is one of my photoshop illustrations I created for my senior thesis in art school. She is more serious than my other fairies. Her title is simply "Blue Fairy" I felt it was a change from my typical cutie fairies. I had to post her since I felt it shows that I can create other styles of character. She is an earlier project from April 2009
This fairy is recent. I wanted to give her a strange impish appearance. I love the large eyes and mushed little face. She is an idea sketch I want to recreate in either water color or acrylics. Her title is " Little Dreamer". She represents everyone who fantasizes of being someone different or big dreams to become big someday. As my Aunt taught me: Believe in yourself and your dreams! Drawn in color pencil/ graphite Sept. 2010
This next two images I just had to post! These were a wonderful gift that my best friend Ande made for me. I love Elephants!!!!! She is fantastic with design, color and pattern. They are so beautiful that i just had to share them. I feel she would be a great illustrator for children's books or films. She captures wonderful sweetness to them that I immediately fell in love with! She also sent me some fantastic patterns that I am tempted to post. Ande may start her site soon so I'll see if she'll let me post some of her patterns such as butterflies and springtime perennials. I f you want more info of her work let me know and I tell her. I love Ande's work! She is so talented. She works on programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator. I would love if she made a story of these character's! Thank you Ande for letting me post Beauregard and Kenta! Keep up the great work and keep sharing them. They are great!
This drawing I wanted to show that a fairy meeting his guardian angels for the first time! This was a quick sketch that I wanted to get down on paper before I would lose the idea! I will definitely do mutiple illustrations of this concept. Drawn in graphite, color pencil, and ink. Sept. 2010
Here is another quick concept sketch of two characters I created in art school. Mimi the sprite and Chester the crow. I made a short children's story in which these two characters become best friends. I love these two characters so much I couldn't give them up. I am still working on costume design for Mimi and I am designing other characters.
